Acacia and Eren Industries join forces to develop over 500 MW of BESS in France

PARIS, June 2, 2025 – Eren Industries and Acacia are joining forces to develop, build, and operate a portfolio of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in France totalling over 500 MW, including nearly 200 MW that are about to begin construction and more than 300 MW currently in advanced development.

A strategic alliance for the energy transition

Acacia, founded in 2022 by Julien Isambert (an entrepreneur in the energy transition and expert in the French power grid) and Green Tower (an investment and project development company focused on the energy transition), is now receiving support from Eren Industries. This partnership aims to accelerate the development, commercialization, financing, and construction of the initial storage projects while laying the foundation for a key player in energy storage and grid services in France.
